Corres · Terms of Service
The fine print, kept plain.
These terms cover your use of Corres, the email app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. By using Corres you agree to them.
Effective October 14, 2026. Corres is made by Anwar Creative Studio, operated by Tamkin Nurul Anwar (“we”, “us”).
Using Corres
Corres is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Standard License Agreement for apps from the App Store, together with these terms. You need an iPhone or iPad and an email account with a supported service, such as Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook.com or Microsoft 365. You're responsible for the accounts you connect and for keeping your device secure.
Your email accounts
When you connect an account, you sign in with Google or Microsoft directly, or give Corres an app-specific password for iCloud Mail, and so let Corres read, organize and send mail on your behalf. Corres acts only on your instructions: what you send, archive, delete or change in Corres happens in your real mailbox. Your use of those services stays subject to Google's and Microsoft's own terms. You can disconnect an account at any time in Corres or in your Google or Microsoft account settings.
Your content
Your email is yours. We don't claim any rights to it, and it isn't sent to our servers. How Corres handles your information is set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Corres Pro
- Corres is free to use. Corres Pro adds features such as Needs You, Waiting, answers in Search, and on-device summaries and replies.
- Pro is sold through the App Store as a subscription (monthly or yearly), and may include a free trial. Apple handles payment, renewal and refunds.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy, and may change; a change applies from your next renewal after you're told.
Beta versions
If you use a test version of Corres (for example through TestFlight), it may have bugs, change or stop working, and may include Pro features for free while testing. Feedback you send helps us improve Corres, and we may use it freely.
Smart features
Sorting, summaries, suggested replies and answers are produced automatically on your device and can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important against the original email before relying on it, and read what you send before you send it.
Fair use
Don't use Corres to send spam, to break the law, to access accounts that aren't yours, or to interfere with Google's, Microsoft's, Apple's or our services. Don't copy, modify or reverse engineer Corres except where the law allows it.
No warranty
Corres is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every email will be sorted or delivered as you expect. Email itself depends on Google, Microsoft and your network, which we don't control. Keep your important mail in your email account, which remains the original copy.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of Corres. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Corres Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if that's more. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
Ending things
You can stop using Corres at any time by removing your accounts and deleting the app. We may suspend or end access to Corres if these terms are broken, or if we discontinue the app; if we discontinue it, we'll tell you in advance where we can.
Changes
We may update these terms as Corres changes. We'll post the new version here with its date, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. Using Corres after a change means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer in another country, you keep the protections that country's law gives you.
